An example can be seen in the images below; which were taken during construction of a kitchen built for a client who had a very specific brief:
- A traditional, country style
- No MDF to be used in the construction

We responded by building the ‘paneled’ doors and drawer fronts, using the traditional mortise and tenon method, from solid Ash for rails and stiles and with plywood for the inserts. These were finished using a 2 pot polyurethane lacquer.

The carcass was constructed entirely from white HPL(High Pressure Laminate) on plywood with all fixings being stainless steel.

The fittings(drawers, hinges, bi-folds etc) were the usual premium quality items from Blum and Hafele.

The result was a delightful aesthetic coupled with cast-iron build quality.
